Mousse au chocolat

Hello, how is the week coming? Very well I hope!
Today I am coming with a great classic recipe. I don’t know about you but in my case, I am the greatest fruit-addict in summer, and when comes the cold weather I only think of chocolate and I still haven’t found better than a Mousse or Coulant au chocolat! Have you??
So, today I want to share with you my quick and easy recipe of Mousse au chocolat.

Serves 6:

200g chocolate
4 eggs
50g sugar
30g butter

Melt the chocolate slowly in a heatproof bowl over a pan of barely simmering water. Remove the bowl from the heat and add the butter. Stir until melted and combined.

While the chocolate is melting, in another bowl whisk the sugar with the egg yolks until it turns white. Add to this preparation the melted chocolate and butter.

Place the egg whites in the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. Whip them until soft peaks form when the whisk is removed, then gently fold them into the chocolate mixture.

Transfer the mousse to small cups or ramekins and refrigerate overnight, or until ready to serve.
